Hey, looking forward to my first-ever Podcamp.

Came to this website today as a result of an email, and went to “sessions schedules”. I didn’t find what I was looking for, which would have been exact times set for each session. I’m not sure how it’s usually done here, but when I go to a section called “schedules” I’m usually looking for a time posted for that session. For instance, if I were only planning to attend one or two sessions for the whole day, I wouldn’t know at this point when to show up.

Or where. Owen school, sure, but a diagram of the building would be nice, with displays of the various ‘stages’ within.

I’m not opposed to ‘flying blind’. In fact that can add to the fun. But it seems to me that if you were going to name a category with the word “schedules” in it, then that’s what we should find there.

My two cents,
Quinn

Quinn,

To be honest, the Nashville Podcamps are way more structured than most of the other area *camps. Normally, people just show up and write their name down on a whiteboard, say “hey, i’m speaking on X” and then the people who want to hear him/her speak just show up when they’re speaking.

The speaker sessions are always finalized day of. There’s even an “ad-hoc” session (At least there has been in the past) where people do just what was mentioned above.

Thanks for that and I now

Thanks for that and I now feel like a dolt, because after I wrote that, I went back to the email and RIGHT THERE it said that “The full speaker schedule will be live on the site on Friday”. Duh.

Jumped the gun, as usual.

Thanks
