We are wanting to discuss Affiliate programs, and how we approached the Affiliate programs in our product offering with Freedom Marketing Group.

A semi-technical overview to discuss how your business can leverage cloud programming services such as Google's application engine. We'll be examining the risks, benefits and fundamental differences of the NO-SQL world. Google's App Engine will be the primary example, but Microsoft and Amazon's services should be applicable.

Sam Miller, an intellectual property attorney with Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz, will explain the basics of intellectual property law as it relates to digital content. Topics will include:

- Trademarks: What is a trademark? How does one use a trademark? How does one protect a trademark? What is the relationship between trademark law and domain name selection?

- Copyrights: What is a copyright? What are the exclusive rights of a copyright holder? How does one protect a copyright (or conversely, avoid being accused of copyright infringement)?

Lets take a look at location-based services. Foursquare, Gowalla, Yelp and more.
Mobile applications are the current craze in social media. Are they the flavor of the week, or is location here to stay?
