The Rise of Data & Data Analysis

Data, data, data. Reams of it are generated every minute. How do we sift through all of the data to gather actionable information? How do we formulate questions about data, and how do we find the answers? This talk will go over the various tools used to analyze data (from the perspective of a non-statistician), the data sets that are freely available, and how we can present data in ways that are easily digestible.
