Speaking Opportunities Still Available: Secure an Impromptu Time Slot.

If your session wasn’t selected in our random drawing, or you were late in creating a session, not to worry. There’s still a chance you could speak about the impact of digital culture on your life in one of our impromptu time slots.

What’s different about impromptu sessions
We are setting aside a premier time slot—at 10:30 am—for impromptu sessions. This time tends to be when we reach our highest attendance. Since this time slot is solely dedicated for impromptu sessions this year, scheduled speakers will not be holding sessions during this time.

How to secure an impromptu speaking time slot
To secure a speaking session in our impromptu time slot, be sure to arrive at PodCamp as soon as the doors open at 8:00 am on March 26th. Five impromptu sessions are available for the 35-minute time slot starting at 10:30 am and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What you can expect
We will announce the names of impromptu speakers and their sessions that day through social media means. Speakers of impromptu sessions can expect their rooms to be fully equipped for A/V, and will be provided with a room/session name sign by set-up time.

Other ways you can share your message
If you’re not among the first five to secure a room for an impromptu session, there are a couple other areas within Cadillac Ranch where you still may be able to set up and share your message, such as spare tables, at the bar or in other available spaces. Talk to us when you arrive and we’ll let you know what space is available.

Don’t forget
Your session should include: a title (naturally), a session format (Case Study, Hands-On, In-Depth, Introductory, or Panel/Discussion), and a choice of session category (Who, What, Where, Why or How).
